MOTION DETECTORS

Sensing the smallest of movements, these highly sensitive, ultra-miniaturized sensors find applications in many applications for intelligent energy, security and light management.

• Indoor/Outdoor PIR Detectors:  Passive Infrared split into two stacked sub-zones, generate an alarm by target intercepting both sub-zones simultaneously.
• AP Detectors:  Signal processing with advanced micro-controlled signal analysis, automatic adaptation to environmental disturbances, advanced dual-slope temperature compensation, dual channel supervision, Patented Alternate Polarity (AP) Quad detection
• Microwave / PIR Detectors:  Offer dense coverage pattern which includes a look-down (Fresnel) lens for close-up detection, advanced temperature compensation, adapt to constant motion, discriminates between 256 environmental condition levels, include microwave supervision, range/sensitivity adjustment, excellent immunity against RFI and electrical transients and infinite rejection of fluorescent lamp interference

ACCESS CONTROL

• Door Control:  Basic system handles 2 readers (and/or keypads) and is capable of controlling two separate doors (with one reader/keypad on each door) or a single door (with readers/keypads on each side of the door).  Initial system can grow to hundreds of doors just by adding more controllers and the appropriate software.
• Magnetic Stripe Reader:  Most widely used technology worldwide for access control applications. Compatible with just about any magnetic stripe cards encoded on track 2. The cards are economical and have an average life of 18 to 30 months. The cards can typically be swiped 25,000 times before physical damage. The reader head does require some maintenance because of wear. The magnetic readers allow over 1 million swipes before maintenance is required.
• Locking Control:  Electromagnetic locks or electric door strikes for use with magnetic or proximity readers
• Proximity Reader:  The fastest growing technology for card access control applications. The advantages of proximity over other technologies are numerous: no moving parts, no mechanical wear, no slots, no read heads to maintain. The reader can be concealed inside walls or special enclosures and, even when the reader is surface mounted, it has no openings to jam or tamper. The proximity card is the most secure and practically impossible to duplicate.
• Exit Control:  To comply with OSHA standards, we provide a variety of inside exit door options, such as breaker bars, exit buttons and proximity detectors.

The 4-port Grand e-Guard and Grand x-Guard PC-based surveillance systems allow you to connect from four to 16 video sources and display / record them on your PC or view remotely through the TCP/IP protocol (Internet/Intranet). The system offers motion detection technology and uses compression rates up to 300:1. The systems save time and money over continuous recording common to traditional surveillance systems.

• Browser Support:  Supports MSIE or Netscape browser to view the camera fields of vision

• Offers the high performance of full size cameras at a fraction of the size. The super tough metal design is very compact at only 6.9” x 3.5” x 5.1”. The PC-160WR provides 420 lines resolution at 0.15 lux. Power requirements are 12 volts DC at 110 milliamps. This unit comes with a fully adjustable mounting bracket for the perfect camera angle. It also has built-on sun shade.
